What we’re about

It’ll be a community choir with a warm, low‑pressure vibe. If you think you “can’t sing”, that’s absolutely fine, come along anyway, and join in whenever you feel comfortable. We’ll explore a range of music, mostly pop, starting with familiar favourites to get everyone feeling confident.

There’s no audition. At some point we may check your vocal range, just you and me, no stress, and we don’t need to do that straight away. Please fill out the "register your interest" form to make sure we keep you in the loop and please tell your family/friends and pets.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to audition?
No audition. Later on, we might check your vocal range privately so we can place you comfortably.
What music will we sing?
A mix of styles, focusing on pop. We’ll begin with familiar hits to get started with confidence and fun.
I’m nervous about singing — is that okay?
Absolutely. You’re welcome to listen at first and join in when it feels right. This is a low‑pressure, encouraging space.
How much will it cost?
It is likely that the choir will have a monthly "suggested donation" (£5-£10, whatever you can afford) rather than an actual membership fee; times are tough, we know it, and we'll do our best to get around that.
I WILL NOT SING! Can I still be involved?
Absobloodylutely! - It is a community after all, and you can come for the social aspect, but there are also lots of ways that you can help.
